Quilts for Haiti

The Stake RS is providing a wonderful service opportunity. They will be making 50 quilts to send to Haiti. They need our help!! The immediate need is for king, queen, or twin flat sheets or fitted sheets with the elastic cut off and corner seams taken out. The sheets don't have to be new, they just need to to be in good condition with no stains, please. Sister Chris Grayson is heading up the project and would like the sheets this weekend, if possible. The sheets will be used for the backs of the quilts and she would like to match the backs to the fabric she will be purchasing for the fronts. We have ward conference this Sunday and it will be the perfect opportunity to hand the sheets off to the stake RS presidency then. If you'd like to bring the sheets to the clothing swap, we can set them aside for Sunday.

Also, there will be two opportunities to help put the quilts together - Thursday, March 11th and Thursday, March 18th at 9am at the Stake Center. If you quilt, bring your machine. If you don't quilt, bring your iron, ironing board, extension cords, scissors, etc.
There will be plenty to do for everyone!
