Help is Needed at the Temple

The Nashville Tennessee Temple is in need of volunteers who would be willing to work in the temple laundry on Saturdays, particularly the afternoon shift. On Saturdays, there is a morning shift from 9:00am until 1:00pm followed by an afternoon shift that goes from 1:00pm until the laundry is finished (typically around 5:00pm). The laundry worker is responsible for gathering the towels and temple clothing from the dressing rooms, operating the washers and dryers, folding the laundry, and putting it away. Laundry volunteers are usually asked to work one or two Saturdays a month and/or serve as a substitute. This is an opportunity for members who are endowed, but may not be currently qualified to be an ordinance worker, to work in the temple and enjoy the blessings thereof.
