Observe their rain-water collection system, year-round organic greenhouse garden, chicken coop, outdoor wood-burning furnace, and much more! Demonstrations will include Dutch Oven cooking with the Whitney's. Celebrate this month of Independence at Sewanee Creek Village. Can't spend the whole day? Come for as little or as long as you can. Bring a picnic and your own self-reliant projects to share. It will be an event to remember!
